It’s almost the end of the year 2012, but one thing that has seen the most dramatic changes this year is definitely the Laptops, firstly the ultra portables came out in the beginning of the year and then with the release of Windows 8 we are seeing an all new style and design of Laptops that would be coming up in 2013.Every community has it’s own requirements of the perfect laptop, students would look for something that is extremely portable whereas business professional would have different requirements similarly Programmers would have a totally different needs, like one such community of People who need the best Machines and Laptops are the Web Developers and Software Engineers, they are going to extensively work over their machines (in some cases for days without switching it off) hence they need a Laptop that can withstand the pressure and be sharp and solid, rugged, extremely portable, should have great battery life and have great hardware. So in the list today we would try to put up the Best Laptops considering all the categories together.

Please note some of the laptops put up in the list are still to be released, but they have already been tested and reviewed by gadget reviewers.

2. Apple Macbook Pro

Apple Macbook Pro has remained on top of the lists of best laptops from years, This apple product is extremely durable and feature rich. It has features like Retina Display which makes the display looks very vivid, Macbook Pro is light and thin (although a bit bulky when compared to ultrabooks), The battery on Macbook Pro can last you upto 7 hrs which is very decent on a full featured laptop. It comes with upto i7 Processor and NVIDIA Graphics, and has great HD Camera which you would enjoy if u love talking to your loved ones over webcam. Macbook Pro has a 15 inch display and costs a whooping $2000, but we feel the price is pretty justified for its features.

8. HP Folio 13

HP Folio 13 is an extremely sturdy laptop (ultrabook), it has an 2nd Generation Intel® Core™ i5 Mobile Processor and 4 GB Ram. It comes with a 13.3-inch diagonal LED-backlit HD2 (1366 x 768) BrightView Display (we would have liked it more if it could support a resolution of around 1600 X 900). The ultrabook weighs around 3.3 lb and has a 6 Cell battery which gives around 5.30 Hrs battery backup in real time conditions. The laptop has a Intel HD Graphics 3000 card and costs around very economical $800.

9. Dell XPS 13 Ultrabook

Dell XPS 13 is a premium Dell Laptop, it is extremely portable because of it’s light weight, thin design and great battery backup. XPS 13 is 6 mm thin at it’s thinnest point and around 18 mm thin at it’s thickest point. Dell XPS 13 comes with 13.3 inch HD Display and has Corning Gorilla Glass protection which saves it from scratches or damanges. XPS 13 comes with 2nd gen Intel® Core™ processors and has an option for SSD Storage. The battery is 6 cell and gives backup of around 5 hrs, the only major downside of this laptop is it’s huge price of around $1500.

10. Toshiba Portege Z835

Japanese company Toshiba is known for it’s high quality machines, and Toshiba Portege Z835 is no exception. Toshiba Portege has 1.6GHz Intel Core i5-2467M, comes with 6GB DDR3 ram, Intel HD 3000  Graphics, and has SSD Storage option. Toshiba Portege has a 13.3 inch display and weighs around 3 pounds. The laptop has a lot of ports which even includes an Ethernet port which is missing in most of the latest released laptops. It has a 6 Cell battery which gives a backup of around 6 hrs and the laptop costs around $700.
