Summer is the time when you need to drink plenty of water, as there are chances of being dehydrated. The body will lose plenty of water as a result of the scorching sun’s unbearable heat. If you do not drink plenty of water, you may experience fatigue as well as urinary problems. Hence it is advisable to consume at least 7 to 8 glasses of water every day.

Most people love to drink coffee or alcohol. But it is better to avoid alcohol during summer season as these are diuretics that can cause dehydration as well as illnesses that are caused by heat.

If you have the habit of sleeping with your blankets that are thick, make sure you avoid them and go for lighter ones. Thick blankets will not allow air into the body and you will find yourself sweating even when you are sleeping. Light blankets will make you cool and comfortable.

You always feel like staying cool in summers. Taking occasional showers can save you from the heat of the sun. If you are a person who indulges in a lot of physical activities, it would be better to take showers 3 or 4 times a day. This can keep you fresh and cool all through the day.

Usually we hear that spicy food should be avoided during summer seasons. But this is not true. Spicy food helps to keep your body stay cool. Refreshing beverages can make you cool in summers. When the temperature increases, the thirst increases too. This makes us consume a lot of water. But when you choose refreshing beverages like fruit juices or iced tea, you can stay cool even in summers.
3. Go Out Or Move Down
If you are staying upstairs, make sure that you move downstairs, as it will be cool downstairs than upstairs where you are close to the rooftop. Yet another method to keep you cool is to move out and enjoy a day in a mall or an air-conditioned movie theater.
2. Place Ice On Your Pulse Points As Well As On Wrists
When you wet your pulse points and your wrists, you are helping your body stay cool. You can even wash your face or sprinkle water on your face often, to make yourself cool.
