10.Gateway Of India

The Gateway of India is the most recognizable monument in Mumbai. It can been seen from plane when it circles around Mumbai for landing. It was Built in British era to give a token of love and respect to the visit of King George V and Queen Mary in the city. It was completed in 1920 and remain as a symbol of British Raj era. Gateway Of India is located  on the waterfront in Colaba, south Mumbai opposite to the Taj Palace and Tower Hotel.

9.EsselWorld And WaterKingdom

Esselworld and Water Kingdom is not only the favorite spot for kids but also for the Teenagers. It is India largest amusement park. It attracts nearly 10,000 visitors every year. 8.Haji Ali

The haji Ali Dargah is the most imposing tourist spot. It is both a  a mosque and tomb. The Hazi Ali Dargah was constructed in 1431 in the memory of  the Muslim merchant, Sayed Peer Haji Ali Shah Bukhari , who gave up all his possessions before making a pilgrimage to Mecca. Dragah also contains his body. On Thursays and Fridays thousands of people gather their to get the blessing of the saint. Haji ali dargah is located at Central Mumbai,  just off the coast of Worli. The dargah is a fine example of the Indian Islamic architecture, associated with legends about doomed lovers.

Mumbai is the center of India film Industry “BOLLYWOOD”. It was named Bollywood from the word “Bombay” ,the earlier name of Mumbai. Nearly 1000 films are produced in the Bollywood every year. Basically Bollywood means Indian Film Industry.

6.Siddhivinayak Temple

Siddhivinayak Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha. It is situated at  Prabhadevi. The Temple is also known as  ‘Navasala Pavanara Ganapati’ or ‘Navasacha Ganapati’ among Mumbaikars. The Temple has an idol of Lord Ganesha which is carved of Single Black Stone. It is 2 feet 6 inches high and 2 feet wide, with the trunk on the right. The upper left and right hands of the idol hold an axe and a lotus, respectively. Lower left and right hands hold a bowl full of ‘Modak’ and a rosary (japmala), respectively. Idols of Riddhi and Siddhi Goddesses are placed on either side of the main idol. The nearest station to temple is the Dader station.

5.Chowpatty Beach

Chowpatty Beach also known as  Girgaum Chowpatty, is one of the most famous Beach of Mumbai. This Beach is crowded with people of all ages. along with food stalls,ferries and balloon sellers. Tourists can sit under the shade of trees and can enjoy the flavor of street food. Chowpatty Beach is also famous for its Ganesh Chaturthi celebrations, where thousands of people gather to celebrate this festival. The ceremony involves the immersion of the idol of Lord Ganesha into Arabian Sea.

4.Iskcon Temple

Iskcon stands for International  Society of Krishna Consciousness. Iskcon Temple in Mumbai is one of the Iskcon Temple from all over the world. It was established in 1978 and is also known as Hare Rama Hare Krishna. It is made up of white marbel and is very spacious as it has its own inbuilt guest house, publishment house and a restuarant serving vegetrain food. The walls have painting depicting the saying of Bhagwad Gita. The best time to visit Iskcon Temple is during Janmashtami. Nearest stations to the temple are Vile Parle (West) or Andheri (West).

3.Sanjay Gandhi National Park

Sanjay Gandhi National Park is also known Borivali National Park, as it is situated near  northern suburban Mumbai. It has an total area of 104 sq.km. It has a rich variety of Fauna and flora, delight of tree lovers and animal lovers. The park also has a rich view of Lakes, valleys , hills and open spaces. Besides this park also has its 2 Lake- Tulsi lake and Vihar Lake.

2.Juhu Beach

Juhu Beach is one of the largest and the most famous Beach of the Mumbai. It is 6 km long and extends to Arabian Sea on the West. Juhu Beach is known for its Street food like-Pani Puri, Sev Puri, Pav Bhaji and more. Gandhi Gram is situated to the North of  Juhu Beach where Mahatama Gandhi lived in his days as a lawyer and the South of the beach has various Luxury hotels. Marine Drive Situated along the coastline of Arabian Sea in South Mumbai. It is built in an inverted C-shape and is 3 km long. It connects the Nariman Point to Malabar Hills. It is also known as “Queen’s Necklace” as it appear as a string of necklace when seen from a height during night. It is also famous for its sunset view.
