10. Willis Augustus Lee
Lee is the one who apart from skilled sport shooter is the vice Admiral of the United States Navy in the year 1945. In the year 1920, Lee was considered as best shooter in olympics 1920 and successful athlete also as in his record he won total of 7 medals out of which 5 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze. Lee apart from winning in individual events he also won events with teammates in single competition only but his first event was this much powerful and strong that he won medals.
9. Ray Ewry
He is the one which can be considered as the courageous athlete who was on a wheel chair as a young boy on the other hand declared best standing jumper in the world by winning gold medals in his first Olympic games in 1900. 7. Carl Lewis
He is the one who is titled as ”Olympian of the century” and considered ”Sportsman of the century” also from his career span 1976 to 1996. He is an track and field athlete winning 10 Olympic medals in total out of which he won 9 gold medals and 1 silver till his last competition he was this much strong and dedicated sprinter that he won medal in his last competition also. Setting a world record in 100mt, 200mt and 400mt relays declare him as Athlete of the year during 1982, 1983 and 1984 rather the year from 1981 to 1900 is considered golden year for him. 6. Mark Spitz
Mark Spitz is the former swimmer who is entitled as best swimmer of the year 1969, 1971 and 1972. From the year 1968 to 1972 he won 11 medals in total out of which 9 gold medals, 1 silver and 1 bronze and achieve various awards setting 35 world records. Through his fist international competition he won 4 gold medals and considered outstanding athlete and since 1900 his performance has been recorded as great percentage winning awards in single games.
5. Paavo Nurmi
Nurmi was a Finnish runner who started his career in 1897 and considered one flying finns out of others in running. The from 1920 to 1928 was a memorable period for him as during that time he achieved various awards and declared best middle and long distance runner worldwide. By setting world official records at the distances between 1500m and 20km. In 1924 he won five gold medals in summer Olympics in Paris and in the year 1952 he was selected as lighter of the Olympic at summer Olympics in Helsinki. He is the soviet union artistic gymnasts who started his career at a very early age of 12 and till his retirement age he won various national and international medals. He got his popularity through 1960 summer olympics in which he won 13 medals out of which 7 gold medals, 4 silver and 2 bronze in olympics only on the other hand he has recorded as gymnasts winning 6 individual titles in world championships and consecutive 3 olympic gold medals. He is also titled as all round world champion in 1960 and 1958.
3. Nikolai Andranoiv
Nikolai was a Russian Gymnast who started his career in 1971 and from that year he has been winning medals whether it is Olympian Championship or any other. In total he has won 15 medals out of which he won 7 gold medals, 5 silver and 3 bronze in Olympics only holding the record for winning highest medals. In the year 1976 he won most of teh medals in summer Olympics in individual of 6 medals and 2 medals as a team effort in all around, floor exercises, horizontal bar and vault. She is the one who give recognition to her country Germany by winning various achievements and medals. In her sports career from the year 1956 to 1964 she has won total of 18 olympic medals and stand second after Michael Phelps in the record of winning highest medals. Out of 18 she won 14 gold medals in individual as well as team also, 5 silver medals and 4 bronze medals in uneven and vault competitions. Larisa in her whole career never came back empty handed in her competitions except in one in 1956 in Balance beam. She is considered to be first female Olympian gymnast winning highest medals.

Michael Phelps has won 18 gold medals, 2 bronze and 2 silver Michael Phelps thus total of 22 medals out of which he has won 18 Olympic gold medals setting double records, 11 in Olympic gold medals in individual events and 13 gold medals in individual events for a male.
